At Aosta, we celebrate the connection between Arrowtown and Italy’s Aosta Valley- both lying on the 45th parallel, each shaped by dramatic landscapes and a shared passion for exceptional food.

Our menu draws inspiration from the traditions of Northern Italy, while showcasing the finest local produce from Central Otago, thoughtfully preserved and prepared to capture the essence of our region all year round.
 

Subtle French influences weave through our dishes, a nod to Aosta Valley’s own Franco-Italian heritage. This brings a refined touch to our hearty, mountain-inspired cuisine, deeply rooted in the land we call home.


​​Aosta's menu is designed by Ben Bayly our executive chef and winner of the "best Restaurant of NZ award 2024"  for his Auckland Restaurant 'Ahi'. Ben and Head Chef Josh Phillips bring the magic of a unique and authentic Italian dining experience to Arrowtown, while still capturing the essence of northern Italian food.​

Little Aosta is the relaxed sibling to our fine dining restaurant, Aosta. Drawing inspiration from the traditional cooking techniques of Northern Italy and showcasing the exceptional produce of New Zealand’s South Island, Little Aosta offers a more casual, convivial experience—designed for sharing.


The menu features housemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and premium meats and seafood cooked in our custom wood-fired oven. Complemented by fresh, seasonal salads and sides, Little Aosta celebrates honest, flavour-driven food in a warm and welcoming setting with Takeaway options.
